Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said at a weekly press conference on Monday in Tehran that the materials conveyed to them under various titles, including the “15-point plan,” mainly contained very excessive, unrealistic, and unreasonable demands.

He added that the meeting held by Pakistan with its neighboring countries was a framework established by Pakistan itself, and that they had not participated in that framework. Baghaei noted that it was a positive development that countries in the region were concerned about peace and security.

He also stated that their position had been clear and that once they reached a conclusion, they would announce it in an appropriate manner, as they had confidence in themselves and knew what they wanted.
