Spain's King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia arrive at Vatican to meet Pope Leo XIV

On March 20, the Spanish King and Queen arrived at the Vatican for an official visit. They had a private audience with Pope Leo XIV at the Apostolic Palace. This is one of their first formal meetings with the Pope since his election in 2025. This visit shows the close relationship between Spain and the Catholic Church. The Pope plans to visit Spain in June.
