Israeli media reported on Sunday that Israel has approved an $827-million emergency budget allocation for military purchases. But Israel had not yet officially commented on the measure nor specified what purchases the funds will cover. When asked by journalists, Israeli Foreign Minister declined that Israel had informed the US that it was running short of missile interceptors.

Since the Israeli-US strike against Iran that began on February 28th, Israel had been targeted by Iranian ballistic missile fire, which the military had mostly intercepted using its missile defence systems.
