Turkiye’s Erdoğan urges Middle East ceasefire

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the war in the Middle East must come to an end as soon as possible. Speaking at the AK Party Group Meeting in Ankara, Erdoğan emphasized that Türkiye stands for peace in its region adding that he is patiently continuing diplomatic efforts to bring diplomacy into play in the region. However, if anyone threatened their sovereignty, they will not hesitate to defend their land, he said.
