Drones downed over Iraq's Erbil, debris fell near hotel

The US-led coalition in Iraq intercepted on Friday explosive drones over the Kurdish city of Erbil where debris fell near a hotel. Iraqi security officials said two drones were shot down over the Burjesia oil complex in Basra but a third penetrated defenses and hit the site. The United States earlier warned that Iranian-backed fighters may target hotels in Kurdistan that are frequented by foreigners.
