Russia sees surge in demand for its energy amid Middle East conflicts

Meanwhile, Russia had recorded a significant increase in demand for its energy resources due to the situation in the Middle East, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

Speaking at a news briefing, Peskov emphasized that Russia had been a stable supplier of both oil and gas under all contracts, including pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas. He also said Russia is in dialogue with Iran’s leadership and will continue those contacts, giving no further details.
