Collective Cleaning Activities: Mon State CM encouraged the activities

To ensure that pagodas, stupas, and religious buildings within Mon State remain clean, green, and peaceful for the public, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein and members of the State Government visited the Pariyatti Dhamma Beikman in Hlaing Ward, Mawlamyine, on the morning of March 7.

The Chief Minister observed and encouraged a large-scale collective cleaning effort involving Government departmental staff, members of Myanmar Police Force, members of Fire Brigade, social organizations and civil society groups, local residents of the ward and volunteers worked together to clear bushes and grass and perform general cleaning both inside and outside the Dhamma Beikman.

Following the observation, the Chief Minister and state ministers toured the premises of the Pariyatti Dhamma Beikman. During the tour, the Chief Minister provided instructions to prioritize the cleanliness, beauty, and greenery of the precincts of pagodas and religious buildings, to maintain these sites as serene environments for the visiting public.

The Chief Minister then met with responsible officials to coordinate the necessary requirements for the ongoing maintenance and cleaning activities, ensuring that all efforts were effectively integrated, it’s reported.
