HK stocks fall amid Middle East tensions

Tensions in the Middle East dragged down major stock markets in the Asia-Pacific region. Hong Kong stocks fell more than 700 points, briefly dipping below the 25,000 mark, hitting a year-to-date low.

Japanese and South Korean stock markets saw further declines, with South Korean stocks plunging more than 10%. Major stock markets in the Asia-Pacific region continued to be dragged down by the Middle East geopolitical situation.
