At least 555 killed in U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran

At least 555 people have been killed in strikes by the United States and Israel against Iran since Saturday morning, Iran’s Red Crescent Society said on Monday.

More than 100,000 rescue personnel are on standby, it said. The U.S. and Israel on Saturday launched what U.S. President Donald Trump called “major combat operations” against Iran, plunging the war-torn Middle East into a new round of violent conflicts.
