Emergency crews on site after fatal cash-packed plane crash in Bolivia

Bolivian authorities said at least 15 people were killed in military cargo plane carrying banknotes crashed on Friday while landing near the capital La Paz. The plane was transporting new banknotes from the central bank to other cities and a large number of bills scattered on the ground at the crash site.

Bolivian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the money transported in the crashed aircraft had no official serial number and therefore it had no legal or purchasing power. The National Fire Department told the reporters that they were recovering the dead bodies who had sadly suffered in the accident.
