OpenAI raises $110 bil. in funding from SoftBank, Amazon, Nvidia

US tech firm OpenAI said it has raised 110 billion dollars in a push for more investment. The money is coming from Amazon, SoftBank Group and semiconductor giant Nvidia. OpenAI, which operates ChatGPT, made the announcement on Friday.

Amazon is investing 50 billion dollars, while Nvidia and SoftBank are putting in 30 billion dollars each. SoftBank said the move would increase its stake in OpenAI to about 13 percent, adding that the US firm is valued at 730 billion dollars.
