Iran FM says negotiators working on 'elements' of a deal with US

Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said negotiators are working on "elements" of a deal with the United States. 

Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran  said "Well, we are still working on that, and we are trying to make it something which consists of elements which can accommodate both sides, concerns and interests. And we are working on those elements. And I believe that when we meet, probably this Thursday in Geneva, again, we can work on those elements and prepare a good text and come to a fast deal. This is my understanding. I see it quite possible."

He emphasized that Iran is focused on nuclear negotiations only at this stage, even amid broader regional tensions, and that the draft deal is being shaped to address the concerns and interests of both sides. 00:05-00:37 SOUNDBITE
