Viet Nam’s Party Chief arrives in US for Gaza Peace Council

Viet Nam’s Party General Secretary Tô Lâm and his delegation arrived on Wednesday at Andrews Air Force Base, US to attend the opening meeting of the Gaza Peace Council, at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Party Chief’s visit was an important multilateral diplomatic activity which sought to work with others to enhance the role of the Gaza Peace Council in promoting peace and reconstruction in Gaza, and safeguarding the legitimate interests of all parties. It is also intended to strengthen political trust and expand substantive cooperation of Viet Nam - US relations.
