Indonesian president departs for US to join first meeting of Trump 'Board of Peace'

Indonesian president Prabowo Subianto departed for Washington, D.C. on Monday to attend the inaugural meeting of U.S. President Donald Trump’s “Board of Peace.” The Indonesian leader is scheduled to participate in discussions at the high-level forum, which brings together key international partners. During the visit, Prabowo is also expected to hold a bilateral meeting with President Trump.
