EU Chief says Europe to take on its responsibility for security

Meanwhile, EU Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen told that Europe must assume more responsibility for its own security at conference in Germany’s Munich on Saturday. She said "they must grow a European backbone of strategic enablers in space, intelligence and deep strike capabilities". She also emphasized that Europe had undergone "shock therapy" from the US and must take more responsibility for its defence.
