Mental health NGO holds street parade ahead of Rio's Carnival

As Rio's carnival approaches, Loucura Suburbana of Brazil, a street parade that brought psychiatric patients, families and mental-health workers together, fills the streets with samba, costumes and giant puppets. The group aims to include psychiatric patients from the Municipal Institute Nise da Silveira, along with their families and mental health professionals, in the festivities of the carnival.
