India-US Space Commerce Meeting highlights growing collaboration

The U.S. Consulate General in Chennai, along with the U.S.-India Strategic Forum, hosted the India–US Space Commerce Meeting in Bengaluru, bringing together key leaders from both countries to discuss cooperation in the space sector.

The forum aimed to further strengthen cooperation between India and the United States in the space sector. Addressing the event, Dr. V. Narayanan, Indian cryogenic engineer and rocket scientist highlighted the growing and robust collaboration between ISRO and NASA. He also pointed out significant developments in India’s space ecosystem, noting that while there was only one space start-up in 2014, today there are over 330.
