Chilean police arrest 34 alleged members of Peruvian criminal gang

Chilean authorities arrested 34 alleged members of the Peruvian criminal organization Los Pulpos and eradicated it in the country, following a series of police operations in January 2026, the Chilean police reports. "In the case of this cell [of "Los Pulpos"] which operated in the north-central area of the Santiago Metropolitan Region, this investigation has practically dismantled it," said the Minister of Public Security.
