Oman FM meets Iranian FM and US special envoy

As part of the Sultanate of Oman’s hosting of the Iranian nuclear negotiations, Omani Foreign Affairs Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held separate consultations on Friday morning with both the Iranian delegation, headed by Iranian Foreign Minister, and the American delegation, headed by Steve Wittkopf, Special Envoy of the President of the United States, and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump.

The deliberations centered upon establishing the requisite foundations for the resumption of both diplomatic and technical negotiations, said the Oman foreign ministry, describing the talks as pivotal.
