Thousands of Dead Fish Wash-Up on Shore after Extreme Heat

There's been another mass fish kill in the outback where more than 100 thousand 'bony bream' are washed-up on the shores of Lake Menindee in Australia. A clean-up of the dead fish has been underway alongside an investigation into the cause of the kill.

Authorities believed extreme weather may be responsible. The Lake had seven straight days above 46 degrees before a cool change. Locals said the incident was concerning but not on the same scale as a similar event three years ago. When millions of 'bony bream died in the nearby darling river.
