Lebanese president meets Spanish PM in Madrid

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez received Lebanese President Joseph Aoun Sunday in Madrid at the Moncloa Palace, as the two countries sign agreements on diplomatic training, agriculture, and cultural exchanges. In their talks, the leaders discussed bilateral relations and cooperation and later signed three memorandums of understanding covering:

Cooperation between diplomatic schools, Agricultural collaboration, Cooperation between national libraries. Sánchez also reaffirmed Spain’s commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East and described Lebanon as a “key” partner in that goal.
