Erdoğan signed bilateral agreements with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Ankara

On Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made the remarks at a joint press conference with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Presidential Complex in Ankara of Turkiye, following a signing ceremony for several bilateral agreements.

Erdoğan said Türkiye and Uzbekistan have elevated their relations to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership, adding that the agreements signed outline a roadmap for future cooperation. During the visit, the two leaders handed over the keys to earthquake housing built by Uzbekistan in Hatay province. A groundbreaking ceremony was also held for the construction of the Uzbekistan State School in Istanbul.
