Nigerian President pays an official visit to Ankara

Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with his Nigerian counterpart, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Ankara.
Nine new agreements were signed between the two countries in various fields.

At a joint press conference, President Erdoğan announced that the target for bilateral trade volume is 5 billion dollars, stating, “Nigeria is a friendly country of strategic importance for them.” The visiting president also thanked President Erdoğan for Türkiye’s contributions to establishing stability in Africa.
