Viet Nam-Laos strengthen strategic ties

Laos Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith on his re-election, praising the success of the 12th Party Congress and reaffirming Viet Nam’s strong support for Laos and the special bilateral solidarity.

For his part, Lao Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith congratulated Viet Nam on the successful 14th National Party Congress and voiced confidence in Viet Nam’s continued progress. Both sides agreed to strengthen political ties as the strategic pillar, expand defense and security cooperation, accelerate key projects, and enhance coordination at multilateral forums.
