Japan bids farewell to pandas before return to China

Japanese people have flocked to Tokyo’s Ueno Zoological Gardens to see the sole remaining giant twin pandas in Japan for the last time, two days before they are scheduled to be sent to China.

The viewing for people who were selected by lottery in advance and lottery winners took videos and photos of the twins. After they left, there would be no giant pandas in Japan for the first time since two arrived in 1972 to commemorate the normalization of diplomatic ties between Japan and China.
