Top EU leaders in India to deepen strategic partnership

The European Union’s top leaders including European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen and High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas are in India on a landmark visit aimed at strengthening the India-EU Strategic Partnership.

During their visit, President von der Leyen will meet India’s President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The leaders will participate as chief guests during the official 77th Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path on Monday. Later, they will also co-chair the 16th India-EU Summit on January 27. An India-EU Business Forum is also expected to be organized on the sidelines of the India-EU Summit.
