Merz and Meloni meet in Rome for German-Italian government summit

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz was received by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at Villa Dora Pamphilij in Rome for a governmental summit. In addition to bilateral issues, topics of the talks are likely to include the Greenland issue and Europe’s relationship with the United States.
