Located in Samsun, the Kızılırmak Delta Bird Paradise, Turkiye stands out for its rich biological diversity. Spanning 56,000 hectares, the delta is home to nearly 70 percent of all bird species found in Türkiye, with a total of 365 species recorded.

During the winter months, the delta becomes a vital refuge for migratory birds arriving from Siberia and Northern Europe. Nearly one thousand swans spend the winter season in the area, creating striking natural scenes for visitors. Welcoming around 100,000 visitors annually, the Kızılırmak Delta is designated as a “strictly protected sensitive area.”
