At least three people killed in a fire at a shopping center in Pakistan

A fire at a shopping center in Pakistan has killed at least three people and injured several others. Thick plumes of smoke billow from the windows as firefighters work on site after a fire ripped through a shopping mall. The blaze swept through the multi-storey Gul Plaza in Karachi city on Saturday, officials said.

No official cause of the fire has been determined, but authorities said flames spread rapidly after starting in an area where shopkeepers had stored imported garments, clothing and plastic household goods, which helped fuel the flames.
