Indonesia had emerged as a global hub for naval diplomacy, marked by the visit of 78 foreign warships throughout 2025. The presence of naval fleets from partner countries such as the United States, Singapore, and Russia has strengthened both bilateral and multilateral relations, reflecting strong international confidence in Indonesia’s maritime security and stability.

Beyond diplomacy, maritime cooperation has delivered tangible economic benefits. Visits by foreign warships and aircraft contribute added value through port services, logistical support, and local spending by visiting crews.
