India EA Minister hold 18th India-Japan Strategic Dialogue in New Delhi

India's External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held wide range of discussions with Japan's Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi during the 18th India-Japan Strategic Dialogue in New Delhi on Friday.

The dialogue focused on wide-range of discussions from Indo-Pacific stability, AI and semiconductor cooperation, to resilient supply chains, critical minerals, energy, health, and maritime security. In his address on the occasion, Dr. Jaishankar emphasized on how India prioritizes its friendship with Japan, saying that it was the Japanese Prime Minister who laid the ground for the emergence of the Indo-Pacific as a political economic and strategic construct.

He added that the vision for the Indo-Pacific aligns closely with the free and open Indo-pacific outlook.
