Jordan Meteorological Department has warned of the risk of flash floods forming in valleys and low-lying areas, particularly in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, as the impact of the low-pressure system and the severe cold air mass deepens.

The Department also warned of the danger of heavy hail in some areas and the formation of thunderstorms, as well as the risk of reduced horizontal visibility due to low-lying clouds touching the ground and fog, especially over mountain highlands.
