Inspection of Rural Development Works: Sagaing Region CM inspected rural development works

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, along with officials, visited a 20-acre mixed plantation of rubber and highland coffee cultivated by farmer U Pho Tar in Naung Lun village, Homalin Township, on January 13. The Township Agriculture Director and other officials guided them through and explained the rubber and highland coffee cultivation on-site.

Subsequently, the Region Chief Minister, officials and local farmers observed pruning highland coffee plants. He warmly greeted the local farmers and, regarding the on-site explanations, coordinated with responsible officials to fulfill necessary requirements and integrate efforts.

Furthermore, the Region Chief Minister and officials visited the site of the 33kV (10 MVA) substation in Homalin Township, near Nar Tha Kyaik village. The substation will distribute electricity from the under-construction "Nam Pa Nga small-scale hydropower project on the Nam Pa Nga stream, to Homalin town and surrounding villages. Construction supervisors explained the progress of the substation construction.

Afterwards, concerning the on-site explanations about the construction work, the Region Chief Minister coordinated with responsible officials to fulfill necessary requirements and integrate efforts, and they inspected the ongoing construction of the substation.

On the afternoon of January 12, the Chief Minister also visited the worksite of the " Nam Pa Nga small-scale hydropower project. He provided guidance on the project implementation status reported by responsible officials and coordinated with them to fulfill necessary requirements and integrate efforts.
