Electric Power: Meeting for electricity distribution in Kachin State

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun together with departmental officials held a meeting regarding the electricity distribution in Kachin State at the Electrical Engineer office in Myitkyina on 10th of January.

First, Union Minister stated that efforts are being made to fulfil the electricity demand and to ensure the development of distribution and power lines. He added that it is necessary to collect electric bill in line with the set prices and to take action against illegal electricity usage.

The Union Minister urged staff to provide best services to the public, uplifting the image of the department. Then the State electric engineer reported the arrangement for electricity distribution, loses and breakout, implementation of power lines and sub-stations, and assigned duites on displaced staff. Upon the reports, Union Minister instructed the necessaries and provided foodstuff to the staff.
