Election in Mudon: 100 Polling Stations opened in Mudon

Voters in Mudon Township of Mon State cast their ballots freely and orderly in the Phase II of multi-party democracy general election, which began at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Before polling opened, election officials displayed ballot boxes to party representatives and sealed them for security. Voting then officially started at 6:00 a.m. Voters presented their national ID cards and voter registration numbers before casting their votes in secret booths using MEVM voting machines. Mudon Township has a total of 100 polling stations, with 168,784 eligible voters, according to the township election sub-commission office.
