









Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin visited polling stations to observe and encourage voters participating in the Phase II of multi-party democracy general election.
Voting began at 6:00 a.m. across 11 townships in Magway Region, where voters are casting their ballots freely and peacefully at designated polling stations. The Chief Minister, accompanied by officials, inspected polling stations in Minhla Township, observing voter list verification using computer systems and the voting process with MEVM machines.
He also spoke with voters and polling staff about their experiences. In Minhla Township, there are 53,261 eligible voters, with 48 polling stations opened across 32 village tracts. A total of four political parties are contesting the election, competing for seats in the Pyithu Hluttaw, Amyotha Hluttaw, regional hluttaw, and ethnic representative constituencies.
