Oill Mill Development : Loan Management Task Force meeting in Nay Pyi Taw

Oill Mill Development Loan Management Task Force held its meeting at Internal Revenue Department in Nay Pyi Taw with the attendance of the Deputy Minister for Finance and Revenue Daw Than Than Lin on 10th January.

In her speech, the Deputy Minister said that Myanma Economic Bank, Myanma Agricultural Development Bank and 14 private banks have been allowed to practice Private Finance Initiative (PFI) to secure broader loan disbursement for the development of oil mills.

The Deputy Minister emphasized on continuous monitoring to ensure effective loan utilization and regular repayment. Then, clarifications were made on current loan disbursement and repayment procedure and further work implementations were discussed.
