Jordan and the European Union (EU) issued a joint statement on Thursday, following the first Jordan-EU Summit held at Al Husseiniya Palace, in which they urged scaled-up humanitarian access to Gaza and reiterated support for the two-state solution.

According to the joint statement, both sides urged all parties to implement the UN Security Council Resolution 2803 and facilitate rapid, safe and unhindered aid delivery throughout Gaza. They agreed to launch the first Jordan-EU Security and Defense Dialogue in Amman in early 2026, and hold the next Jordan-EU summit in Brussels in 2028, according to the statement.
