School Family Day: Sagaing Region Chief Minister attends education festival

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw attended the 2025–2026 Academic Year Education Festival held at No. (2) Basic Education High School in Monywa on January 8. The event featured music, dance, sports demonstrations, and exhibitions from basic education and private schools.

In his speech, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of education in developing human resources and urged teachers to nurture students with knowledge, skills, good morals, and discipline. He also called on all stakeholders to work together to build a peaceful and developed nation.

The Chief Minister and officials also presented awards and cash prizes to outstanding students, schools, teachers, and competition winners in academics, sports, arts, and ICT.
