Notifications Released: NDSC conferred titles, medals and social field medals

The National Defense and Security Council issued Notification No 1/2026 dated on 4 January to confer religious titles to Ganthadhura Pariyatti lecturer Sayadaws, Vipassanadhura Patipatti Kammathanacariya Sayadaws, mobile missionary Sayadaws, internal and external missionary laypersons and the prominent individuals who significantly support Buddhism with four types of donations..

Likewise, the Council conferred honorary and gallantry medals and titles on relevant outstanding persons under Notification 2/2026.
