Education Festival: Education Festival in Mon State held

2025-2026 Academic Year Education Festival and award presentation ceremony was held at the State Hall in Mawlamyine in Mon State on 3rd January with the attendance of Acting Chief Minister and Mon State Minister for Security and Border Affairs Colonel Kyaw Swar Myint.

The ceremony was inaugurated with cutting ribbon and stage performance of the students from No.8 Basic Education High School Mawlamyine.

In his speech, the Acting Chief Minister underscored the strenuous efforts of the government in enhancing nation’s education sector, providing requisite assistance and support to offer effective and convenient teaching and learning environment.

The Acting Chief Minister also called for concerted efforts of the teachers, students, parents and responsible personnel to turn out qualified youths and professionals who possess both physical and mental strength.

Then, the Acting Chief Minister and concerned officials presented awards to outstanding students and enjoyed stage performances of the students from respective private and basic education schools.

The Acting Chief Minister and officials also made a tour to industrial, science and arts exhibitions showcased by students.
