Candidate registration begins for Thailand's February election

Campaigning in Thailand's February general election has begun with candidate registration starting on Saturday.

Candidates for the lower house race turned up at registration venues across the nation as their supporters gathered to cheer them on. The latest polls conducted this month show that the opposition People's Party is leading Anutin's Bhumjaithai Party.
