Turkiye is hosting the season’s first alpine skiing race

Sarıkamış, Turkiye is hosting the season’s first alpine skiing race with athletes from 21 countries competing. With the arrival of snowfall, ski resorts across Türkiye have come back to life and the excitement of winter sports has officially begun. The season’s first major alpine skiing competition is being held in Kars’ Sarıkamış Ski Resort.

The Alpine Skiing Sarıkamış Cup has brought together 126 athletes from 21 countries. Competitors are racing in their respective categories to achieve the best possible results and gain an early advantage in the season. On the first day of the event, qualification races were held at the Sarıkamış Ski Resort. The international competition will conclude on 25 December with the final races.
