Party central committee convenes 15th meeting

On the morning of December 22, the 15th meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee opened in Ha Noi. The meeting focuses on three key issues: preparing personnel for the 14th Party Congress, reviewing draft documents to be submitted to the Congress, and completing tasks for organising the 14th National Party Congress.

In his opening remarks, Party General Secretary Tô Lâm said personnel plans for the 14th-term Politburo and Secretariat meet required standards, structure, and Party regulations. He noted that preparations are being guided with the highest priority given to the interests of the Party, the people and the nation, with strong consensus on the proposed leadership for the 2026 – 2031 term.
