Swiss Ambassador hails Varanasi ropeway project

Switzerland's Ambassador to India Maya Tissafi arrived in North Indian city of Varanasi on Saturday. The Ambassador inspected the Varanasi Ropeway Project during her visit to the holy city. Hailing the project, the Swiss Ambassador said that the project will transform urban transport system while unlocking vast potential for tourism, economic growth, and commercial activities.

Built by National Highways Logistics Management Limited along with Swiss company Bartholet, the project will be the first public transport ropeway of India.
