Türkiye President gave speech at naval platforms

President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the commissioning, flag-hoisting and first steel-cutting ceremony for naval platforms at the Istanbul Shipyard Command.

Drawing attention to Türkiye’s performance in defense and aviation exports, Erdoğan underlined the results of the past 11 months. He said exports increased by 30 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 7.445 billion US dollars.

Reiterating Türkiye’s foreign policy stance, Erdoğan stressed that the country has no ambitions on anyone else’s territory. He emphasized that the projects being implemented are not preparations for war, but initiatives aimed at preserving peace.
