FIDE U9–U17 Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship

The FIDE U9–U17 Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship, organized by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in cooperation with the Turkish Chess Federation, has officially begun in Antalya, Turkiye.

The championship brings together 312 young chess players from 34 countries. Supported by the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, the tournament features some of the world’s most talented young players, including grandmasters under the age of 17. In addition to world championship titles, the event offers participants the opportunity to earn international rating points on the global chess platform.

The championship will conclude on December 20th, with the final matches determining the world champions in each category.
