Czech Republic President appoints members of the Czech Republic government

President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel appointed members of the Czech Republic government at Prague Castle.

The new cabinet of ANO, SPD (Freedom and Democracy Party ) and Motorists was appointed 72 days after the elections, in the case of the outgoing government of Petr Fiala it was 69 days in 2021.  Pavel will pay attention to how not only the government, but the entire political leadership of the Czech Republic contributes to maintaining and building democratic principles and institutions.

The government will rely on a majority of 108 seats in the Chamber of Deputies, and is expected to ask for a vote of confidence on January 13.
