India and Indonesia conduct joint special forces exercise

India and Indonesia are holding the 10th edition of their Joint Special Forces Exercise Garuda Shakti at the Special Forces Training School in Bakloh, India.

The exercise is designed to improve interoperability between the two forces and support the exchange of best practices for counter-terrorism missions. Both sides are focusing on mission planning, coordinated operations, and execution techniques suited for semi-mountainous terrain.
