Fresher Welcoming Ceremony: Magway Region CM delivered the opening speech

The Fresher Welcoming Ceremony for the 1st Year students of Bachelor of Health Science (Basic Health) (11/2025) program, was held at the Convocation Hall of the University of Community Health (Magway) in the morning on December 8. Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended and delivered the opening address.

At the ceremony, Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin stated that this university is the only one of its kind in the country. It is a Union university that brings together people from all ethnic groups from every region and state. Therefore, students must learn together in unity, solidarity, and friendship. He urged them to diligently study and learn both theoretical and practical subjects thoroughly. If there are things they do not understand, they should meet and consult their teachers openly and familiarly. Furthermore, he encouraged them to strive to become quality, competent health staff in the future when they take on responsibilities for the nation.

Furthermore, the Rector of the University, Dr. Tun Tin, explained the objectives of opening the Bachelor of Health Science (Basic Health) program, the teaching plans for each academic year, and the university's rules and regulations, it’s reported.
